CCHT was the recipient of two Best in Real Estate Awards on April 19 for developments in north Minneapolis and Chaska. They were presented by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal at its annual awards dinner.

Winning the Community Impact award was CCHT’s Ripley Gardens, which is turning a historic hospital building in north Minneapolis into 52 rental units and 8 owner-occupied townhomes for people earning low to moderate incomes.

CCHT's Clover Field Marketplace won for Multi-Family Rental Development
earned the Multi-family Rental Development award. The development will provide apartments and commercial space in the heart of a traditionally designed neighborhood in Chaska. Presenting the award, LarsenAllen Manager Tom Melchior applauded CCHT for bringing affordable options to outer-ring suburbs, where employers are eager to see wider housing options for workers.

The two developments are featured in the April 20 issue of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.

CCHT President Alan Arthur says the awards help allay concerns about affordable housing. “Every time CCHT’s work is acknowledged for its quality and excellence, it helps us make the case that housing can be both affordable and a real asset to the community.”
